I have worked with and owned animals for over 30 years.  I grew up with dogs, cats, various rodents (hamsters, mice and rats), rabbits and parakeets.  While taking riding lessons for several years, I worked at the stable to gain experience with horses.  I’ve taken in various rescued animals including dogs, cats and ferrets.  I’m currently owned by two rescued cats, Mollie and Tribble who certainly have me well trained!

After over 14 years in the corporate world, I finally realized my passion for animals could also be my career. With the support of my wonderful boyfriend, I began to explore the possibility of becoming a pet sitter. I found a kindred spirit in Kristi and here we are doing what we love best!

I believe the best way to find a pet is through adoption either through the SPCA or another local rescue shelter. There are so many wonderful animals out there that need homes. I also believe that all pets should be spayed or neutered, which is why I volunteer at The Spayed Club (www.thespayedclub.org). My pets are like children to me – they just wear fur coats, have a tail and walk on four legs!

I’ve also volunteered my time at the American Stroke Association by participating in and becoming a mentor for their Train to End Stroke program. I raised over $8000 and have run a total of three marathons (two through the ASA). I’ve taken college courses in Business and Office Administration, Sociology and Education, and am certified by the American Red Cross in Pet First Aid.

I have owned pets for my entire life. I currently have 7 rescued animals of my own, 4 cats (domestic shorthairs) and 3 dogs (2 older Keeshonds and 1 Beagle puppy). I also have experience with other small animals, including mice, hamsters, parakeets, and even hermit crabs.

This business naturally evolved for me.  When friends and family go on vacation, I am the one that they call to watch their pets.  It made sense to do so for others as well.

I am certified by the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, and also by the Red Cross in Pet First Aid. In addition, I have taken dog obedience classes with one of my own dogs, and I am therefore familiar with basic dog training.

I have a B.S. in Biology from the Pennsylvania State University as well as a Masters in Molecular Genetics from Harvard University.

I currently am involved in a local women's networking organization, the Bucks County Women's Business Forum, as the chair of the membership committee.  I also compete in triathlons and marathons.  In addition, I make blankets for Project Linus, a non-profit organization that provides new homemade blankets to children in long-term hospital care.
